The Royal Wedding seems to bring out the ugliness in people..Get over it!!!

I have noticed sooooooo many negative comments about the Royal Wedding on Facebook(dont get me wrong im not a fan)..and my question to you is..Why do you care??? did you forget this saying, if you have nothing good to say..DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!!!..
I dont know whether some of you are bitter, jealous, want attention or just bored..but LET THEM BE...the bible says

Romans 12:15 Rejoice with those who rejoice;

it is refreshing to see a joyful event besides the everyday dreadful news. Yes i know everyone is entitled to their opinion...so with that said..SO AM I!!!!

How a familiar smell can take you back into time

So I was looking out the window, watching the rain come down and take a deep breath and boy do I love the smell of rain and wet grass...I started to think and I said this before to my husband, on how a powerful scent can take you back to that exact moment. This smell reminds me of summerfest. The 3 day weekend conference full of youth seeking Gods presences, hanging out with friends and going to sleep late........ and that was it..something really simple but yet so powerful it stays in your mind, breaking night and having to walk to your room in the early morning and the smell of summer morning dew...I smile when i write this..it was simple times, I can feel, smell and see myself walking, smiling and also thinking its going to be a long day....but it was the most freedom i had...no parents, no curfew (well we did have curfew, we just broke them...yes i know..bad girl..)i had no worries, no responsibilities, at least for me...my only challenge was what I was going to wear to impress the boys(which young ladies..you DON'T NEED TO IMPRESS ANYONE!!that's another subject)..... Seems so ridiculous now yet so WOW i was so carefree...should of enjoyed it more.. This is why I say, don't know whats the rush with young people wanting to grow up so fast..Enjoy your tweens, and teens. Concentrate in school and pick a career...TRUST ME!!...but I'm going off the subject..i do that a lot when i write...That's  a little insight into my brain..its all over the place..i have a lot to say....but like i was saying.. the power of a scent. I have a few more..i will give you one more.. i cant describe the smell but when it does come crawling up my nose, it reminds me of one of my babysitters hallways...so random..i know..but again a very good memory...so now I want to hear from you.What scents takes you back or remind  you of something or someone?? comment below...cant wait to hear from you..

Spring Polka Dot Nails

 

• Confetti "Pink Paradise" (CVS)
• Confetti "Belle of the Ball" (CVS)
• LA Color Baby Pink (Family Dollar)
• LA Color White (Family Dollar)

Cardboard, toothpick or a thin brush 

1.  Apply 2 coats of Confetti Pink Paradise, let it dry
2. Pour out the rest of the polishes on the cardboard
3. Take toothpick and dip in polishes
4. Apply on your nail any way you want

Make sure you apply a bottom and top coat. I use Sally Hansen Double Duty

5 Easy fix it tips

1. Keep Lipstick From Bleeding

•  Apply foundation on  lips 
•  Next apply lip liner to your lips before applying any lipstick. 

2. Fix Flyaways-

• To avoid them at all cost, deep condition your hair once a week.( I use Coppola  Keratin Complex infusion therapy Vanilla bean deep conditioner CVS $19.99 or Moroccan argan oil from Organix also at CVS about $8 to $9 dollars)
• For a quick fix: dont have any hairspray around, try lotion

3. Look More Awake-

• Line your lid and inner lid with a neutral or white colored eyeliner pencil, which will instantly make your eyes look more white and awake.
• Also, using a eyelash curler and mascara are quick and easy ways to instantly look more awake.

4. Hide A Zit

• Your concealer has to have just the right consistency. It can't be too waxy or too creamy. Pick the right one for you
• Put a small dab of powder over the concealed pimple for even better coverage.

5. Fix A nick-

• If you nick yourself while shaving, dab a little bit of deodorant on the cut and hold for 5 seconds. The aluminum chloride in deodorant can also shrink blood vessels.

What have we come too..

When a holiday comes around do we teach our children the true meaning? 

Just a little reminder to all. Lets take time with our children and teach them the true meaning. The WORLD is teaching and seducing our children into believing and participating in pagan traditions and putting God on the side or even worse...not mentioning HIM..

Dont allow your child to be taught by that hypnotizing  square box.....the TV....it is easy just to let them sit there for hours and  be intoxicated with filth..sit down for at least 5-10 minutes.... speak and teach  your child about the Bible. Dont wait for the Sunday School teacher, leaders or pastor from the church to do it, ...it is not their RESPONSIBILITY......IT IS YOUR DUTY...the Lord gave you that child and HE will hold you accountable for any actions you may have taken or didnt...you made a promise to God  to guide, teach and direct the child on the right path. So lets get moving!!!

Face it Ladies, the older we get, we realize our skin is not the same. Make up is our new best friend. As a Figueroa, my dad's side of the family, left us with bad i mean bad under eye circle. SO i have to use more concealer than the average person..I will show you in future blogs.

Do it yourself: Face Scrub using Aspirin

Will post many DIY face mask and how to exfoliate your face with products in your own home.

..this will be my first:

Good for all skin types but especially oily skin.

Aspirin is made out of salicylic acid also known as Beta Hydroxy Acid, BHA for short.

This cleanser that you will be making starts out as a mask, and ends up becoming an
exfoliating cleanser. Warning: it will be very grainy. Use rotating motion around face. DO NOT go around eyes. Do not overdo..you can do this 1 or 2 a week, doing it daily can dry out your skin.

LIst of materials 

• Any Non coated Aspiring(if you get coated SPRINKLE a little bit of water and wait about 5-10 minutes)
• Aloe Vera (if you wish, only because the scrub can be rough, I personally dont use it
• Any moisturizer

Lets get started: 

Sprinkle a little bit of water(it looks alot because I used coated)

 When dissolved it should look like this

 

Place on face ROTATING MOTION

 

 Voila..you have clean fresh soft skin..

Dont forget to moisturize

Just a reminder for YOU who likes to talk: Every step I take whether good or bad you might call it bad., i call it taking a leap of faith....its all accordance to my Creator...He is the author of my life, Im just trying to put in reality what was written for me..everything and anything we do...its all for a purpose.

               One i  want to point out: Our Leadership role: yes we lefted it but along the way...did you know we saved 6 souls who didnt want to enter a congregation because of the same reason im talking about...Who am I to question Gods purpose in my life...I just OBEY!!!...
